The tent canvas from TenCate Outdoor Fabrics is not just any tent canvas. The canvas has been constructed from 300 years of experience and innovation. TenCate Outdoor Fabrics originated from the parent company in the second half of the last century.
History
The spinning, weaving and finishing of textiles: we know everything there is to know about it. For us, the production process has no secrets.
The knowledge is in the genes of the company. Dating back to the 17th century, the Ten Cate family started producing textile in the east of the Netherlands.
Experience and an open mind for new technology and chemistry have brought the company to where it is today.
Location
This is all clearly evident to see at our company location in Nijverdal. Here you can find state-of-the-art production facilities amidst industrial heritage. Under the watchful eye of the monumental factory chimney, we are working on the materials of the future with our ‘Factory of the Future’ programme. This is how TenCate Outdoor Fabrics has become renowned in the camping industry for its tent canvas and outdoor sun awnings.
